Welcome to ArtStart studio. By using our website, services, and booking system, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any bookings, purchases, or using any of our services.

1. General Information

2. Bookings & Reservations

  • 2.1 Booking Process: Bookings for classes, workshops, and events can be made online through our website. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when booking.
  • 2.2 Age Restrictions: Certain workshops may have age restrictions. Please refer to individual class or event details for specific age requirements.
  • 2.3 Booking Confirmation: A booking confirmation will be sent to your email address once your reservation is complete. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive this email.
  • 2.4 Class and Workshop Schedule: Our schedule of classes and workshops is subject to change. We will notify you in advance of any significant changes to the scheduled time, date, or instructor.

3. Payment & Fees

  • 3.1 Pricing: All prices are listed in euro and are subject to applicable taxes. Prices may vary depending on the type of class, event, or service booked.
  • 3.2 Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer or any other method specified on our website.
  • 3.3 Payment Confirmation: Your payment is processed at the time of booking. You will receive a confirmation email once payment is successfully received.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • 4.1 Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled class or workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days will result in a credit towards future services. No refunds or credits are given for cancellations made up 24 hours before the event.

  • 4.2 No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a class or workshop without prior notice will not result in a refund or credit.

  • 4.3 Studio Cancellations: If the studio cancels a class, workshop, or event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, low enrollment), you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund.

5. Collection of the work produced during a Class or Course

  • 5.1 We will hold your pottery or artworks for 4 weeks after we have contacted you to collect. After this time we may donate or dispose of your pottery or art work.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • 6.1 Shipping Policy: For pottery made by our students we offer shipping. Shipping costs for packages up to 10kg and sizes up to 80x50x35cm is €15.

  • 6.2 Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within [X] business days. Please allow additional time for custom orders, which may take [X] weeks.

  • 6.3 Damaged Items: If you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your package. We will claim damage to the carrier. We are not responsible for damage caused by the shipping carrier.

  • 6.4 Shipping Delays: We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier or customs processing. However, we will do our best to assist you in tracking your order.

7. Studio Policies

  • 7.1 Studio Behavior: We expect all participants to act respectfully and professionally during classes and workshops. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the class without a refund.
  • 7.2 Health & Safety: All participants must follow health and safety guidelines provided by the studio.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during certain workshops or classes.

  • 7.3 Personal Items: We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during your visit to the studio.
  • 7.4 Technical issues and breakages: The Studio is equipped with high quality kiln and equipment. Experienced and trained staff will handle and fire your ceramic work. However, by the nature of ceramics unfortunately there always remains a risk of technical failure and/or breakage of the pieces for which the Studio and trained staff cannot be held responsible.

  • 7.5 Cleaning:

All participants in a class or course are required to clean their workspace and any areas of the Studio that they have used at the end of each class, this is for good studio practice and to prevent the build-up of clay dust.

8. Gift Cards

  • 8.1 Gift Cards are valid for six months from the date of purchase. Upon redemption of a gift card, the Class booking will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
  • 8.2 If the value of the gift card is lower than the cost of the class the recipient wants to purchase, the remaining balance will need to be paid by the recipient. If the cost of the class is less than the value of the gift card, the gift card will remain in credit for the outstanding amount.
  • 8.3 Gift cards cannot be used towards the purchase of another gift card.

9. Intellectual Property

  • 9.1 Content Ownership: All content on our website, including images, videos, text, and designs, is owned by ArtStart studio. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content from this site without express permission.
  • 9.2 Workshops and Artwork: Any artwork created during a class or workshop remains the intellectual property of the artist (you), but we reserve the right to take photographs of the artwork for promotional purposes.

10. Privacy Policy - 10.1 Data Collection: We collect personal information (name, email, contact details) when you make a booking or purchase. This information is used to process your order, notify you of upcoming events, and improve your experience with us. - 10.2 Data Protection: We take your privacy seriously and implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal data. - 10.3 Third-Party Services: We may share your information with third-party service providers (e.g., payment processors, shipping companies) to facilitate transactions. These third parties are obligated to keep your information confidential.

11. Liability & Disclaimers - 11.1 Limitations of Liability: We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation in our classes, workshops, or other studio activities. - 11.2 Force Majeure: We are not responsible for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

12. Modifications We reserve the right to update, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated.

13. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
