We created a programme which is fun, exciting and stimulating for each age group. Each week we propose a different topic that is relevant to the agenda and interests of the children and realize them using different art materials and techniques.

We teach children to express themselves in the language of art. We strongly believe that each child should be given the opportunity to explore their creative mind and imagination. This means that our programme is always flexible and that the child’s own ideas are celebrated and encouraged at all times.

In our art lessons with kids, we explore a variety of materials such as colored pencils, pastels, paint, ink, and paper. The kids create a range of artworks including paintings, drawings, collages, prints, and mixed media projects, experimenting with different techniques to express their creativity.

For teens 11-16 years old!

Our art classes for teens create space for children to set their creativity free. Learning to draw and paint opens up an amazing and colorful world. It can be both fun and rewarding and also frustrating when you don’t have the skills to paint or draw what you want. That is where we come in…

The program for the teens class consists of promoting different approaches towards art, namely: still life, imaginative, landscape and seascape, abstract art, creating a poster and copying from a picture.

On our lessons teens will learn:

• Self-expression through art.
• Draw and paint simple to complex objects.
• Advanced knowledge of design principles: shape, form, value, colour etc.
• What is perspective and composition.
• How to use new mediums to achieve their creative vision.

Perfect for teens who are beginning to explore an interest in the arts or are highly skilled and looking to build their portfolio. Each teen class gives the opportunity to strengthen skills and learn new techniques during the term.

Acrylic paints are a fantastic and versatile medium for both beginners and experienced artists to create vivid and dynamic artworks on a variety of surfaces.

Our instructor will guide you through each step of the process, from start to finish. Plus, you can enjoy a cup of hot tea or coffee, enhancing the cozy and creative atmosphere.

These lessons are perfect for anyone wanting to create striking and stylish art in just one or a few sessions!

In our acrylic painting lessons, you'll learn:

• The essentials of working with acrylics, including helpful tips and tricks for using the medium.
• What type of canvas to choose, how to dilute paints, and which brushes are best for different techniques.
• How to compose your painting and select the perfect color combinations.
• How to paint a picture based on a reference from our collection or your own idea (please bring a reference image, either printed or on your phone).

You can pick up your finished artwork right after the class. Note: Artworks are stored in the studio for up to 1 month.

We provide all the materials you'll need for the class, so you can show up ready to create—no experience required! You’ll learn how to paint trendy pieces that complement your space or personal style. Forget about needing traditional brushes; we’ll teach you how to use canvas, acrylics, pallet knifes, sponges, and even your fingers to create beautiful art.

ArtCamps in Haarlem are run throughout the year during the school holidays for kids 4-12 years old.

Camps focus on bringing fun, excitement and the freedom to create, using a whole host of materials and resources.

Kids will get to try new mediums, meet new friends, and have a blast while doing it! We follow themes based on various holidays and celebrations, where activities on offer coincide, but are not limited to, the holiday at that time.

ArtCamps are engaging and relaxed, naturally, we enjoy being creative, we also enjoy playing games and being active and with great indoor and outside activities, expect break times to be energetic and enjoyable, great for burning off any excess energy, before bringing the focus and calm back in to ‘Create’.

What is included:

• Art activities: painting, sewing, claying, crafting. Every day different activity.
• Healthy snacks and a simple vegetarian lunch.
• Outdoor playtime.
• Guidance of a professional art teacher.
